On November 8, 2025, the Varsity Cheer team made a mark at regionals held at East Fairmont high school. These girls were led into competition that day by team captains Autumn Meddings and Mallory Windsor.
The cheer team was able to showcase their abilities, skills, and hard work along with ten other different high schools. First place went to Wheeling Park, second place was Morgantown, and holding third place was Musselman High School.
Some tumbling passes that might have stood out to the crowd were completed by Alyin, Riley, and Harper Bosley. Aylin and Riley absolutely nailed their synchronized roundoff whip tucks. Harper Bosley showed the crowd her roundoff double handspring tuck, which she nailed. The routine also started off with every girl on the mat doing a cartwheel tuck, not to mention every single one of the girls landed them.
Despite them not doing their greatest at states, that is still a huge accomplishment considering the Varsity team hasn’t been to states in years.
It is also bittersweet seeing our captains and only seniors, Autumn and Mallory, leaving the team after this year and this was one of their last times competing on our Varsity team.
