Homecoming week at Musselman High School celebrated its first spirit week of the year. The theme was “A Tangled
Week,” inspired by the Disney movie, Tangled. Lasting from October 6th to the 10th, the halls were filled with creativity and school spirit. To wrap up the week, MuHS had a pep rally and homecoming dance.
Starting with Monday, we had “Pj’s with Pascal,” where kids could wear their comfy clothes and bring a stuffed animal with them. Tuesday was duo day “Rapunzel and Flynn,” dress up with a friend as your favorite duo. Wednesday came with neon colors as students dressed in the theme “At last we see the light.” Thursday we had “Mother knows best,” in which students dressed up as old people vs. babies. As spirit week came to an end, Friday’s theme was “School Spirit” that encouraged everyone to wear green, white, and a little bit of red.
During the pep rally, students engaged in exciting games like tug of war, bobbing for apples, and many more. Every grade level played their best, but the seniors ended up winning in the end.
The following day, we had Homecoming, which Kordae Bunny and Peyton Smith won King and Queen.
