Monday, April 4th was a cool windy day for our Applemen boys lacrosse first home game of the season against Strasburg High School. The game started off fast with Musselman going up 3-0. Halfway through the quarter the score was 5-2, Musselman was winning every face off. The quarter ended 7-2 Musselman winning.

The second quarter was a little slower as Musselman went on a 5-0 run keeping Strasburg from scoring the ball at all. The crowd was small, but loud and supportive of the Applemen. As the third quarter began, Musselman was again winning every face-off, scoring every time they got the ball. The score was then 14-3 going into the 4th quarter. They were on fire. Musselman continued to score and didn’t look back, winning 17-5.

Trenton Whitmer had 7 goals and 4 assists. Tyler Waddell added 6 goals and 2 assists. Ben LaPole had 1 goal and 2 assists. Cameron Martin rounded out the night with 1 goal.  This was a great way to begin their season with a home game win. Their record is now 2-3 as they head to their next two games in Preston this Saturday.
