The CiderPress Newspaper has been hunting down the new teachers here at Musselman to make sure we welcome them with open arms. We’ve been asking all the new teachers questions about themselves. First up is Mrs. Reynolds, one of the many new teachers:

Q: Is this your first year teaching?

A(Reynolds): No, I have actually been teaching for two and a half years prior.

Q: What are you currently teaching?

A(Reynolds): I currently teach World History to our freshman in the PLC.

Q: What did you teach before coming to Musselman?

A(Reynolds): I taught U.S. History and Psychology.

Q: What made you want to teach?

A(Reynolds): I had a really good professor in college that made me want to teach.

Q: Why did you come to Musselman High School to teach?

A(Reynolds): My husband retired from the Air Force and got a job nearby, so naturally we moved. Musselman became my new teaching home!

Q: What are you looking forward to during this school year?

A(Reynolds): I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the different students here at Musselman.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a teacher?

A(Reynolds): My favorite part is the ability to improve my skills and strategies to help my students succeed.

Q: If you could be one thing in the world, what would it be?

A(Reynolds): I want to be a really good mom.

Q: Do you prefer Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks?

A(Reynolds): Starbucks (Preferably home brew)
