As summer has come to an end, it’s back to school for Musselman High School’s students and teachers. We welcome them back and extend a warm welcome to the new class of 2029 as they start their Freshman year. We also want to congratulate the seniors for making it this far and we wish you the best of luck for your last year.

We caught up with Mrs. Riggleman and Mr. Rizer with how they feel with this upcoming year.
“I’m always excited to see all of the Applemen back in the building. I work all summer and it’s just quiet and lonely, so I love having everyone in the halls,” said Mrs. Riggleman.
Mr. Rizer mentioned his excitement over the new freshman class: “It’s nice to be back.I always enjoy seeing new faces with the freshmen and reconnecting with the old faces that have been here, so it’s nice to welcome those students back.”
In addition to the new faces in the building, there are a few renovations around the school including the library, the new track, tennis courts, and the auditorium will be worked on soon.
“So, we did have renovations this year because it was much needed. A lot of that stuff has not been updated since the opening of this building in 1998, so it was definitely needed to provide the best atmosphere for all of our students,” stated Rizer.
