Senior night for the Lady Applman soccer took place on October 15th at Waldeck field against Spring Mills during which the Appleman brought home the win.

Musselman won 3-0 against the Cardinals. In the first half several players took shots at the goal however Skylar Hook was the first one to score the first two goals in the first half. In the second half Ashlynn Simmons scored the final goal with 20 minutes left in the game. Nyxx Butler who is the goalkeeper for the Applemen made many great saves as well.

Several seniors were honored that night including: Lindsay Massey, Marissa Sturba, Brook Paxman, Ayla Lewis, and Emily Czaja.

The end of the season ended with a winning record which hasn’t happened since 2016.

“I’d say that overall, the season was a great improvement from the past years and we were able to face all adversity head on,” stated senior, Marissa Sturba.

Overall, the season ended good. We are excited to see how the next several years go.
