Afterwards he had a career in the business world, including owning a brewery for a few years
Prior to teaching at the high school, Sama worked two different education adjacent jobs.
“At the middle school [Musselman Middle] I was doing FLEX which was an introduction to French. I was [also] homeschooling my kids for three years in all subjects,” Sama stated.
When asked what he likes about the job he mentioned that since teaching, he has enjoyed the interactions with his students and enjoyed the math subject because of its objectiveness.
Outside of school, Robert Sama has a refurbished 40-acre farm that he is fond of and appreciates the work it brings.
