On Tuesday January 4th, our  MUHS boys JV basketball team took on the Jefferson Cougars. People came out to support the team, making it the biggest crowd of the season for JV. Our student section showed up with the theme being white lies. The basketball team came out strong to take the lead early, and didn’t let up. The Applemen had their heads high after the big win over Jefferson 62-49. With this win the boys progressed to 2-0 on the season. Players will have time to rest preparing for their matchup on Friday against Spring Mills High School and for their game against Martinsburg on Jan. 13th, a home game.
